Botox® in Lone Tree, CO
WHAT IS Botox?
As we age, fine lines and wrinkles naturally develop due to factors like sun exposure, collagen breakdown, and repeated facial expressions. One of the most effective and widely trusted solutions is Botox®—a proven treatment that smooths wrinkles and helps maintain a youthful, refreshed appearance!
Botox® is a quick, non-surgical treatment designed to relax targeted muscles, reducing contractions that cause fine lines and wrinkles. By giving your skin the rest it needs, Botox® helps smooth existing wrinkles while preventing new ones from forming.
Does botox Hurt?
Typically the sensation associated with Botox can be described as a small pinch lasting 1-2 seconds per injection site. However, this is usually only in more sensitive areas whereas other areas of injection may not be felt at all.
How many Units of botox Will I Need?
Because YOU are unique, the number of units needed for your treatment is also unique! The amount of units for each individual is completely customizable and depends on many factors. The biggest factor is how many areas you wish to treat. After discussing your unique aesthetic goals and desired areas of treatment, we establish the natural size of the muscle we are treating, the age of the client, and the severity of the lines and wrinkles we are targeting to determine exactly how many units are suitable and necessary for our desired outcome!

who is not a candidate for BoTOX?
Botox is not FDA approved for any individual currently breastfeeding or pregnant.
Individuals who have been sick in the past two weeks may not be an ideal candidate, as an active infection can increase inflammation in the body, making the injection site more susceptible to potential complications.
Aminoglycoside antibiotics such as streptomycin, gentamicin, tobramycin, neomycin, and amikacin potentiate the effects of botulinumtoxin. Therefore, individuals taking these antibiotics should wait at least two weeks after their last course of antibiotics to receive botox treatments.
Individuals with past or current facial surgery may experience differences in anatomy, which can increase the potential of complications and asymmetry after treatment.
Neuromuscular disease can potentiate the effects of botox and exacerbate symptoms of these conditions. Individuals with multiple sclerosis, myasthenea gravis, Lambert-Eaton syndrome, ALS, Leu Gehrig’s Disease, or any other neuromuscular disease are NOT a candidate for Botox Cosmetic.
