Morpheus8® is a minimally invasive treatment that combines microneedling and radio frequency (heat) to create safe and controlled “micro injuries” which stimulates collagen and elastin production in the deeper layers of the skin. Morpheus8 has the ability to penetrate deeper into the skin than any other microneedling device, going as deep as 4mm. Tissues of the face and body can be remodeled to reveal a more radiant, youthful appearance in little to no downtime.

HOW MANY Morpheus8 SESSIONS ARE NEEDED?

We recommend a minimum of 3 sessions that are done 4-6 weeks apart. Multiple treatments may be needed depending on your goals.

WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED with morpheus8?

Morpheus8 is most commonly used on the face and neck, however, it also works on areas of the body where you are experiencing loose or sagging skin, wrinkles, scarring, or stretch marks.

WHAT IS THE DOWNTIME of morpheus8?

After Morpheus8 RF Microneedling, the skin will be red and flushed in appearance in a similar way to a moderate sunburn. You may also experience skin tightness and mild sensitivity to touch on the area being treated. It is anticipated that the skins redness will diminish greatly after 24-72 hours. Peeling off the skin, redness, mild swelling, and a sandpaper like texture to the skin is normal. Generally, after 3-5 days the skin will return to a near-normal appearance.

CAN ANYONE USE MORPHEUS8?

The benefit of Morpheus8's color blind technology is that it can be used on all skin types. The unique properties allow even darker tones to be treated.

WHEN CAN I PUT MAKE-UP ON AFTER Morpheus8?

Makeup can be applied 1 to 2 days after the treatment. You should expect to see micro lesions a few days after treatment and slight redness depending on treatment parameters.

WHAT KIND OF pre/POST CARE IS REQUIRED for morpheus8?

Pre Care:

  • Avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks prior to treatment, and use an SPF 30 or higher (making sure to reapply every 2 hours when in the sun).

  • 2 weeks prior, begin using recommended products to prepare your skin for treatment. A pigment inhibitor (SkinBetter EvenTone or Alastin A-LUMINATE) is strongly recommended. Let your provider know if you have a history of cold sores or herpes simplex.

  • Do not apply self tanners or spray tans for 2 weeks before treatment.

  • Avoid the use any retinol, retinol products, salicylic products, or exfoliation products 5 days prior treatment.

  • If possible, please come to your appointment with the treatment area clean and without make-up or any cosmetic products.

Post Care: Avoid direct sun exposure, working out, makeup and sunscreen for 24 hours. Do not use any harsh chemicals, acids or topicals until your skin has completely healed. For the first 24 hours, gently wash with lukewarm water, pat dry and apply the recommended healing serum only. After 24 hours you may use a gentle cleanser, a light moisturizer and sunscreen. It is recommended to use a broad spectrum sunscreen every day.
